Standard Mental Health First Aid

This is a MHFA Australia accredited course aimed at guiding course participants through the process of assisting an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate help is received.

Course participants will learn how to identify signs of mental health issues and warning signs of suicide, how to use the right language with staff at work, have quality conversations on mental health, how staff and teams can develop a cohesive language around mental health, how to develop healthy return to work practices, and how to offer guidance on what to do and what not to do.

"With a supportive and interactive approach you will learn how to assist adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves."

Certificate upon completion: Accredited MHFA Certificate
